Let Me Reason With You!

Welcome to Paracosms Delight, my name is NDE (pronounced, Indie), and I want to reason with you! For those of you who may not know, a Paracosm is a fantasy world—one conjured up during childhood. Unlike most people, I’ve chosen not to put away my childlike things. I’m an aspiring writer and have been creating since I was fourteen years old. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I’ve got a lot of ideas floating around, many of which, I’ve yet to materialize. I created this blog to help me step into myself and relinquish my thoughts. I’ve debated how to prosper it, but the truth is, I struggle with being perceived. I’ve fought with the idea of social media, but after years of putting it off and not finding my footing, I’m ready to overcome.

I’m working on my first novel: A story about an Associate Professor whose mundane life is turned upside down when she learns about the impending doom of the world around her. As tragedy strikes, she makes the decision to enter the gates of a utopian society that stands as the lone relic of humanity. Only to find that the challenges of her new life will reopen wounds from her old one.

I’ve held onto this story for a year, and have worked to mold it into something I can truly be proud of. It has felt more like home than anything else I’ve ever done.

Through this blog, I hope to grow within these worlds and with you. To find my writers voice and my personal voice. To dream and build something just as fantastical and rooted as the stories I create. I hope to vlog, blog, chat, explore, travel, and create a place for discovery. After all—the Paracosm lies within the hands of the creator!
